SelfCare welcomes reports of original research relating to self-care; including studies of consumer behaviour, the communication of healthcare information, healthcare delivery models, and trials of treatments including licensed medicines, vitamins and minerals and complementary therapies. We encourage submission of innovative work from diverse areas including clinical effectiveness, healthcare economics and policy development.
We also welcome review articles surveying the current status of self-care as well as opinion pieces addressing key issues and challenges facing the self-care environment. All content in SelfCare will be subject to peer-review so that together we can help build a sound scientific foundation for consumer-directed healthcare.
If you are considering submitting a paper to SelfCare, please read our instructions to authors for guidance. If you have any questions, please email us: editor@selfcarejournal.com
